Duo Pianists

Sunday, February 7 at 3.00 p.m.

Recognised as Canada's leading duo pianists, James Anagnoson and Leslie Kinton have delighted audiences throughout Canada, major sections of the United States, Europe, and most recently China and Russia. Their program for us will include the enchanting four-hand version of Stravinsky's Petrouchka, the tale of the puppet who comes to life.

Newly appointed as artistic directors of the Grand River Baroque Festival, these two celebrated musicians perform works from the baroque period to the present with the captivating high spirits and brilliance for which they are known.

Montrealer Matthew White, who has been praised variously for the exceptional clarity, purity and expressiveness of his voice, and for his "impeccable musicianship" (Ken Winters) has sung with orchestras and opera companies on 3 continents. For us he will be singing a selection of eighteenth century Italian secular songs.
